is a quiet expression of Christ’s love to the children at Golisano Children’s Hospital. On the last Wednesday afternoon of each month, a team of three volunteers spend a couple of hours hosting Bingo in the activity room. With donated toys, stuffed animals, and pre-packaged snacks brought from church, volunteers help create a fun and uplifting break in the children’s day.
One volunteer calls the numbers while the others play alongside the kids, ensuring late arrivals can easily join the game. Children who are unable to leave their rooms can watch and participate through the hospital’s closed-circuit TV, and family members are welcome to join in. At the end of the session, children select prizes based on the games they’ve won.
This ministry offers a meaningful way for volunteers to bring joy, comfort, and encouragement to children who may need it most.
