Prime Time

Prime Time is a vibrant ministry for adults ages 50+ based at Life Church and joined by many seniors from Friends Fellowship and other local churches. Led by a dedicated nine-member committee, Prime Time serves our community through annual outreach initiatives—including preparing meals at the Rescue Mission and Samaritan House, and supporting the local food pantries.

The ministry also blesses our youth with financial support for special trips and retreats. Throughout the year, Prime Time offers a variety of enjoyable day trips for seniors, providing fun, fellowship, and connection. Each year concludes with a festive Christmas celebration featuring gifts, games, and entertainment from our talented members.

Wee Care

Wee Care is a quiet expression of Christ’s love to the children and their families at Golisano Children’s Hospital. On the last Wednesday afternoon of each month, a team of three volunteers spend a couple of hours hosting Bingo in the activity room. With donated toys, stuffed animals, and pre-packaged snacks brought from church, volunteers help create a fun and uplifting break in the children’s day.
One volunteer calls the numbers while the others play alongside the kids, ensuring late arrivals can easily join the game. Children who are unable to leave their rooms can watch and participate through the hospital’s closed-circuit TV, and family members are welcome to join in. At the end of the session, children select prizes based on the games they’ve won.
This ministry offers a meaningful way for volunteers to bring joy, comfort, and encouragement to children who may need it most.

Hearts and hands

Men and women who meet to learn and make handcrafted items that we then donate to those in need.  We meet Wednesdays at noon following our Friend’s Fellowship meeting; we have fun while we produce something that will share the love of Jesus.  We accept any donations such as yarn, cardstock, etc. and we are open to anyone who would like to teach a craft.  All are welcome to learn and share.

Alpha

This course is designed for anyone interested in exploring the claims of Jesus in a relaxed atmosphere. An exploratory course answering the question, “What does it mean to have faith?” Eleven weeks, meeting once per week and it involves food. Usually a meal is served, a short (20-25 minute) video concerning an aspect of faith in Christ! Then comes the amazing time of small group discussion where everyone is heard and valued. Especially designed for people who do not identify as Christians. The next series begins April 8.

Life Kids - Children's Ministry of Life Church

At Life Church, children are a beloved part of our church family. Our heart is to see every child follow Jesus, grow in their faith, and discover ways to serve, leading them toward a lifelong commitment to the Lord.
